The drive of the game was Corseńo’s three run shot in the top of the 3rd, which eventually gave Modell’s the win. The game ball would have been awarded to Corseńo, but for it went sailing over the fence. Instead, Modell’s Jason Alter—who managed to keep the ball within Garrity Field—received it Over the course of the game, Alter batted 1-2 with a walk, and was the go-ahead run for his team. A solid debut at first base came from Joseph Forman.
