Zachary Berman, DDS, is excited to announce the opening of Embrace Family Orthodontics in Hawthorne, New Jersey. Berman told The Jewish Link, “The mission of Embrace Family Orthodontics is to provide patients with an awesome experience that they will look forward to, enjoy and remember, while providing quality orthodontics to craft confident healthy smiles.”
As implied in the name, Embrace Family Orthodontics is for the whole family. Following the recommendations of the American Association of Orthodontics, Berman sees children for pre-treatment evaluations, as young as age seven, in order to diagnose any orthodontic problems that may be developing. He also sees teenagers and adults who wish to improve their smile and self-image. “It’s a family,” Berman expressed, “Communication should be open and honest. I want all patients to feel comfortable, ask questions and be educated about their orthodontic treatment.”
Berman has a variety of orthodontic options available for all ages. “The technology of braces has come a long way since I was a kid,” he reflected. Traditional metal braces are still a great option, and today, braces are much smaller and less noticeable. Embrace Family Orthodontics also offers clear braces and Invisalign for those who are more concerned about aesthetics. This is a popular choice for adults and some teenagers, as they are less noticeable than traditional braces, and can be extremely effective if used correctly. Dr. Berman explained that “clear aligners such as Invisalign are convenient and hygienic because they can be removed so there are no restrictions on what you can eat or drink. They also make brushing and flossing your teeth much easier.”
Embrace Family Orthodontics is a fully digital office. All x-rays, photos and impressions are captured with state of the art equipment, using the convenience and comfort of modern technology. “I didn’t enjoy goopy impressions when I was getting braces,” Berman stated, “The technology is here. I don’t want my patients to have to go through what I did.” Technology is essential in establishing that ‘awesome experience’ Berman aims to create for his patients.
Berman is a board-certified orthodontist and a Diplomate for the American Board of Orthodontics. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from New York University, a doctor of dental surgery degree from Columbia University School of Dental Medicine and received his specialty certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics from Montefiore Medical Center. Prior to opening Embrace Family Orthodontics, Berman worked throughout New Jersey at both private and corporate offices, providing orthodontic care to thousands of smiling patients. Originally from Monsey, Berman lives in Fair Lawn with his wife Rivki and three children Esther, Tani and Dalia.
The office is beautifully renovated and the atmosphere is fun and relaxed. Embrace Family Orthodontics is in network with many private dental insurances (PPOs), and has in-house financing options available in order to make quality orthodontic treatment affordable.
