Emunah of America- Libby Kolb Chapter invites you to its annual Shabbat tea honoring “Our Women: The Quiet Heroes,” to be held on September 16 at 4 p.m. at Congregation Rinat Yisrael.
Guest Speaker Nina Kampler will be speaking on “Why – When Bad Things Happen to Good People.” Kampler is a lawyer, real estate adviser and business development expert. She and her husband, Dr. Zvi Marans, live in Teaneck and are very active members of their Jewish community. Kampler has begun speaking and writing about coping with tragedy in the aftermath of losing a child by suicide.
Funds raised by the Emunah tea will provide treatment and intervention for children in need, including art, drama, animal therapy and traditional counseling. Emunah helps empower vulnerable, at-risk children to become healthy, assured, independent and functioning young adults. Emunah’s five children’s homes are Achuzat Sara, Afula Children’s Center, Bet Elazraki, Neve Michael and Neve Landy.
