(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) On Monday evening, a gathering was held at the Bris Avrohom Center to commemorate the yahrzeit of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Schneerson ob”m. Tzivia Pizem, shelucha in Sderot, Israel, spoke at the event. She shared details of the last four months living under fire at the border of Gaza, and all that Chabad did for the soldiers, the security personnel, and for the community. She spoke encouragingly to the attendees to perform good deeds in honor of the Rebbetzin, and in that merit they would benefit their brothers and sisters in Israel.

The evening began with the recitation of two chapters in Tehillim by Shterney Kanelsky in honor of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin.

The well-attended event was organized by a committee of women who prepared a beautiful buffet of salads and desserts.
