First graders at Yavneh Academy have grown in their awareness of saving the earth’s resources by learning about reducing, reusing and recycling trash. They joyfully sang “Every Day is Earth Day” and have a trash-free snack chart to help the students reduce their waste. They had an incredibly creative experience reusing trash to make wonderful trash art creations. Each child became an engineer by planning, designing and creating trash art. The students are already becoming leaders in caring for the environment.
