Recently, many have noticed that some, but not all, Tic Tac packages now bear the OU imprint. Rabbi Tzvi Nussbaum, the voice of the OU Kashrut Hotline, explained that: “Tic Tacs, depending upon which distribution and manufacturing depot they come from, now sport the OU on its packaging. Therefore it is most important that each time it is purchased it has an OU on it.”
There are 35 different flavors of Tic Tac and not all of them are given hashgacha. Prudence is necessary before making a purchase.
