(Courtesy of Nevut) Join IDF lone soldier veterans in an extreme empowerment event! The Nevut Century Ride is an amazing cycling event open to all riders. Participants will receive a custom biking jersey, great swag and full support from a SAG (support and gear) team as well as fully stocked pit stops along the route. The event will take place August 22, near Deal, New Jersey. Challenge yourself to bike the 100-mile or 50-mile route and raise vital funds to support Nevut’s empowering programs.

Nevut, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has services, programs and events for IDF lone soldier veterans. These are soldiers who left everything behind and went alone to Israel to protect our homeland, our nation. Now, it’s Nevut’s mission to ensure that they are not alone when they return home. Focused on community and connection, career advancement and well-being, Nevut ensures that our IDF lone soldier veterans are empowered with the resources, programming and support needed to transition back into civilian life successfully.

Rabbi Ari Abramowitz, founder and executive director of Nevut, recalls last year’s amazing 85-mile ride up to Bear Mountain. “It was so special to have community members ride with the soldiers and have the opportunity to give back. We look forward to an even bigger event with more community participation this year!”

He notes that there’s still plenty of time to train for this year’s Century Ride. “To be part of such an experience,” he said, “and know you’re supporting programs such as scholarships, mentoring, career guidance, therapy, Jewish life and networking events is both rewarding and exhilarating.”
