The Fair Lawn Chapter of Hadassah will be honoring their “Woman of Valor,” Karen Sapherstein, on Monday evening, December 14, at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom. A resident of Fair Lawn since 1961, she was owner-director of Play ’n Learn, a local and beloved preschool, until her retirement in 2015. She is active on the Hadassah board and creates programming for its book reviews. Civically, she has held leadership roles in the Fair Lawn Sunrise Rotary.
