The JEC lower school’s second grade gets high marks for creativity and ingenuity as they held a Famous People Fair recently.

Incepted by their teachers Mrs. Aliza Berkowitz and Mrs. Esti Cantor, students quite literally rolled out the red carpet for parents, faculty and friends alike and treated guests to detailed explanations, games and even sweet treats as they explained the various personalities they researched and impersonated for their projects.

It was a sight to behold as the enthusiastic students dressed up as historical figures, inventors, authors and even movie stars and were eager to explain their work to anyone passing by.

It also powerfully reflected the idea of project based learning and how today’s JEC students are empowered to apply, cross reference and utilize the various applications and skills to which they are being exposed.
