Hundreds of people turned out for the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey’s Second Annual Kosher Food and Wine Expo at Englewood’s Congregation Ahavath Torah on November 7, 2022.  The VIPS got a head start on the festivities with Esprit Caterings’s stations of sumptuous carved meats, sushi, wines by Herzog and an open bar. Some of the area’s top restaurants, food retailers and caterers filled the ballroom for the main expo. Cuisines from around the world were on display, including the Asian/Latin fusion of Narruto Bowl and Asian fare from Teaneck’s Estihana. Several styles of grilled and smoked meats and accompaniments were provided by Heimish Food & Catering; The Humble Toast; Kosoco; R&Z Kosher Smoked Meats; Shabbat2Go, Smokey Joe’s/Ember Catering and Smoked Bites (formerly Sender’s). Allied Importers U.S.A., FillerUp Kosher Wines and Royal Wines showed off the depth of kosher wine. Fruits by Pesha and treats from The World of Goodies added a sweet touch to the evening.  Proceeds from the event will help Federation fund programs to alleviate food insecurity.
