In fifth grade Yeshivat Noam students have been delving into the physics of light. Our students have been examining the properties of light and the direction in which it travels. Here they are analyzing the reflection of light rays from the inner and outer surfaces of soap bubbles. The kaleidoscopic display of color is produced when light waves combine with each other and form brighter colors. When two waves interfere with each other they will cancel each other out and a black dot (no color) will be seen.
