Fireman Moshe Visits JEC

“Ooh, a fireman! A Jewish fireman!” JEC’s Early Childhood students could not contain their delight as fireman Moshe taught them all about fire safety. The children were fascinated by his equipment. It was so reassuring for children to see that a friendly firefighter is underneath the bulky air tank and mask, fully equipped to keep them safe. Fireman Moshe (also known as JEC graduate Moshe Stareshefsky) shared fire safety tips that are so relevant for Chanukah, such as keeping curtains away from the Chanukah candles and playing in a different area. The children were thrilled to ask questions and take pictures with a real Jewish hero!
