Flag Football Comes to Highland Park

NFL Flag Football is here and growing fast. Get your child registered for the new American Instructional Flag Football League in Highland Park, NJ. Games and practices will be on Sundays only from September 11th – November 20th at Highland Park High School on the turf football field. This is a fantastic way for your children to stay fit and healthy while learning the game of football.

The mission of the AIFL is to build positive self-esteem in every player while teaching them the game of football. This is a no contact league with plenty of instruction.

All games are no more than an hour long, each has a trained referee and each player receives an official NFL team jersey with flag belts that they keep once the season is over. Trophies are presented to all players who win the final championship game.

The season breaks down into 10 weeks. The initial two weeks are pre-season instructional weeks where players will learn Active Dynamic Warm Up, acquire skills by rotating through a variety of drill stations taught by certified Parisi performance coaches and try out the game by scrimmaging with the staff’s oversight and instruction. The next six weeks are regular season games followed by the last two weeks of playoffs.

You can learn more and register your child by going to www.aiflag.com. Register today so you can be sure to get a spot. Teams will fill up fast. You can also register as a coach and we will teach you everything you need to know and do. Join us on the Gridiron!
