Fourth Grade Builds Bionics in Moriah STEM Lab

The Moriah fourth grade students completed their biology unit in STEM by building a bionic cardboard hand. They showcased what they learned about the bones that make up their hands as well as the joints, muscles and tendons necessary to make their hand move. By pulling on the tendons (strings) on their bionic hands there were able to make the fingers bend at the joints just like a real hand would!
