Friendship Circle of Passaic County to Host Friendship March and Family Fair

Friendship Circle of Passaic County will once again be hosting a fundraising and awareness day for children with special needs and their families. This years event, FriendshipMarch 2019, will be held at Oak Hill Park, 1680 Route 23 N, Wayne, New Jersey, on Sunday, June 2.

Friendship Circle of Passaic County is a community-wide non-profit organization. Friendship Circle helps children with special needs and their families from all over Passaic County. Friendship Circle provides social services, camps and special events for these special kids. The most unique service is special home visitations, pairing teenage high school volunteers to visit the children in their comfort zone and become big brother/sisters. The Friendship Circle impacts over 1,000 people annually. Last year, Friendship Circle volunteers provided over 4,000 hours of friendship to those with disabilities and their families.

In the past Friendship Circle has held a yearly Walk-a-Thon and family festival fundraiser at Wayne Valley High School’s track and field. This year they have moved to a new, more prominent location right on Route 23 in Wayne.

FriendshipMarch 2019 will be an amazing day of raising awareness for special needs children, adults, and their special families. In addition there will be appearances by local dignitaries and a full family fair after the march. It will be an event with something for everyone.
