Frisch Annual Club Fair Offers Students Chance to Pursue Their Passions

Students got to peruse over 100 co-curricular opportunities at the annual Club Fair at Frisch to explore their passions and nurture their growing talents in a variety of areas. Popular mainstays include the Art and Poetry clubs, College Bowl and Debate and Chidon HaTanach and Model UN, while some of the newer clubs include Robotics, Cougar Nation Network (livestreaming technology) and Ice Hockey and Lacrosse.

“I was amazed by the expansive options for clubs and sports at Frisch that were represented at the Club Fair,” said Zoe Raykher ’20. “It’s gratifying to see that my peers and I have so many opportunities to get involved with something that taps into our talents and interests.”

Rabbi Michael Zauderer, Frisch’s director of educational systems, who oversees the clubs and co-curricular activities, said, “Aside from the diversity of the options for students to pursue their passions at Frisch, what makes our clubs special is that the majority of them are student-initiated. Frisch is invested in not only encouraging our students to explore what excites them outside the classroom, but to pioneer new ideas and assume leadership roles in these areas.”
