Dr. Jennifer Blanck, a member of Frisch’s science department, showed some Frisch pride in Sunday’s TCS New York City Marathon. Dr. Blanck finished the marathon in 6 hours and 55 minutes. “It was not nearly as fast as I would have liked, but I did finish,” said Dr. Blanck.
And she had plenty of cheerleaders helping her along the way. “The Frisch community is phenomenal,” continued Dr. Blanck. “Students made signs that my parents and husband held up on first avenue so I could find them. Many also sent me well wishes before and after the race. Finally, Rabbi Ciner generously provided me with Frisch gear to wear at the start line. I was very proud to represent Frisch at the marathon!”
