Frisch Ice Hockey Secures Second Place in the Division

On Sunday, at the Barnabas Health Pavilion at The Prudential Center, Frisch broke open a 4-3 game after two periods with three goals in the third for the 7-3 win over East Side. Joey Lipschitz and Jake Fromen each had a goal and an assist, Joe Tropp scored on a long shorthanded blast. Zach Rosenblatt, Jacob Ross, Aryeh Bloom and Benjamin Feintuch also scored for the Cougars. Steven Luzio had a pair of goals for East Side. The win, along with Monday night’s win over West Orange, puts Frisch in second place in their division at 3-1 and at 4-2-1 overall. Frisch plays its next game on Wednesday evening at 8:15 versus Gill St. Bernards at Mackay Arena in Englewood.
