(YLP) The Frisch JV basketball team came out strong in their matchup against SAR, jumping to an early lead in the first quarter. However, as the quarter progressed, the pace slowed, allowing SAR to keep the game within reach.
The second quarter saw both teams battling evenly, with neither side gaining a significant edge. At halftime, Frisch held an 11-point lead, setting the tone for a competitive second half.
In the third quarter, Frisch began to pull away. Jacob Gervis and Joseph Munoz stepped up, leading the team with strong performances on both ends of the court. Judah Suss added a spark by draining a pair of 3-pointers, widening the gap and giving Frisch a comfortable advantage.
The fourth quarter mirrored the third, with Frisch maintaining their momentum and closing out the game with consistent play. SAR worked hard to stay in the game but couldn’t close the gap. Frisch finished with a well-earned 52-29 victory.
The combination of strong leadership from Gervis and Munoz, Suss’s timely shooting and a solid team effort made the difference in this matchup against SAR.
