Several Frisch students spent a long Shabbat weekend at Yale University to participate in the Math Majors of America Tournament for High Schools annual competition. The exam was given on a Saturday but thanks to the efforts of a couple of enterprising Yale students, observant day school students were able to take the exam on Sunday.
Frisch mathletes spent a beautiful Shabbat at the Slifka Center, got to schmooze with college students and learned from a scholar-in-residence from the Drisha Institute for Jewish Education. One of the Frisch juniors came in at second place in the individual round.
