Frisch Students Raise $10,000 for Project S.A.R.A.H.

Students at Yeshivat Frisch raised and donated $10,000 for Project S.A.R.A.H. through Kahal, Frisch’s student tzedaka organization. Principal Rabbi Eli Ciner said the contribution was an expression of support for the important work that Project S.A.R.A.H. does within the community. In December, representatives from Project. S.A.R.A.H. visited Frisch and ran a program for juniors and seniors about healthy relationships and relationship abuse. The program featured a moving performance of “Flowers Aren’t Enough,” Naomi Ackerman’s one-woman show about an educated Jewish woman from a good family who finds herself in an abusive marriage, as well as smaller workshops for students led by Project S.A.R.A.H. professionals.
