Summer Shabbatot can be loads of fun when you’re able to play or sit in the warm weather and have fun at the park. However, they are extremely long, which leaves a lot of free time; my friends, family and I like to spend some of this time playing board and card games. While many people neglect board games in this day and age, as technology has taken over, it’s important not to let them go out of style because they are perfect for Shabbat! In addition, playing board and card games is a great way to have fun and hang out, while allowing you to use strategy and teamwork. They are also a great way to channel competitiveness. Here is a list of some of my favorite board games that can make your Shabbatot more exciting.
