Future He’Atid Artists Draw Inspiration From MOMA

Kindergarteners at Yeshivat He’Atid had an amazing experience this week—they took a trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art! All year, the students had the work of famous artists integrated into their learning, and finally they saw up close what they had previously only seen in pictures. Each class received a special, guided, educational and interactive tour. Students visited work by familiar artists—Picasso, Pollock, and O’Keefe, learned about techniques such as perspective and were invited to draw their own expansions of works they saw. What an amazing way to cap off a strong year of learning!
