AI professionals need to understand design thinking and user experience as well as AI and machine learning algorithms,” Dr. Argamon explained.

Five of the fast-growing roles where AI is improving and changing industry include AI Chatbot Developer, Smart Grid AI Engineer, AI Network Security Specialist, Algorithmic trader and AI Medical Imaging Specialist. These fields are growing rapidly and average salaries range from $90,000-$170,000.
