Rockleigh–In 2015, Gallen Adult Day Health Care Center, part of the Jewish Home at Home, is expanding its door-to-door transportation services into Rockland County and will continue to serve Bergen County. Handicapped-accessible van service is available to participants.

The program at Gallen serves seniors and adults with disabilities who enjoy a social environment with engaging activities and nutritious meals, supported with medical services they need. The program offers door-to-door supervised transportation, nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks, as well as activities designed to maintain and support physical and cognitive function. In addition, there is on-site medication supervision and medical visits. Assistance with personal hygiene is available.

The program is open to seniors, including those with medical needs, such as Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, and more. Caregiver support groups are also available.
