As the children at Gan Rina got ready for Chanukah, they took some time to go over fire safety. The Teaneck Fire Department came for a visit and reviewed important skills such as how to stop, drop and roll; how to crawl low in case of smoke, and how to pick a safe spot for family meetings in the event of a fire. Chanukah candles can be beautiful to look at, and frying latkes smell delicious, but safety comes first.
