Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

The children at Gan Yaldenu joyfully celebrated Tu B’Shevat, learning about the importance of trees and the many gifts they provide. They explored the Hebrew stories Eliezer and the Gezer and Six in a Bag, with the pre-k class, performing both tales for their friends.

To honor the holiday, the children baked delicious carrot muffins and planted seeds in beautifully decorated planters. The festivities concluded with lively singing, dancing, and instrument playing, alongside a vibrant display of plants, fruits, vegetables, and treats. It was a wonderful way to connect with nature and celebrate the New Year of the Trees.
