The yeladim at Gan Yavneh were excited to celebrate the birthday of the trees! They made tree themed birthday crowns and baked Tu B’Shevat cake—a brown base for the earth, green icing for grass and colored flower sprinkles for the flowers. They made many projects including family trees and enjoyed cutting and sampling fruits that grow on trees.
