War Cabinet Minister Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz, Cantor Netanel Hershtik and the Maccabeats have joined to record a prayer for the IDF soldiers, marking 100 days since October 7. Hundreds of young school choir members also lend their voices to this remarkable production.
Marsha Motzen, Yavneh’s choir director, shared, “Yavneh is extremely proud to have taken part in this beautiful project with Chazzan Hershtik. Everyone knows this tune and sings it in shul, but the finished product, with the videos of our chayalim is so incredibly moving. I know everyone who sees it will be touched by it.”
In the words of Netanel Hershtik: “During these challenging times, every Jewish heart yearns to do something to support our soldiers in their efforts. Their inspiring heroism brings the Jewish people together in prayer for their safety and success in the battlefield. I believe that this musical prayer reflects the outpouring of love and support that we all feel towards our chayalim. Furthermore, both the Maccabeats and myself are humbled to be joined by a great leader of Israel, Former Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz, who is currently serving as war cabinet minister, leading the joint effort of the Jewish people in their battle against evil.”
