I was disappointed to hear that Congressman Scott Garrett had not prevailed in his re-election bid. Garrett was a staunch advocate of issues pertaining to the pro-Israel community. He worked assiduously for a united Jerusalem, for strengthening the US-Israel alliance, against the threat of terrorism and in opposition to the Iran nuclear deal. His representation in the House of Representatives will be missed.
