Gerald Kirshenbaum, The Right Man for the Job

Gerald Kirshenbaum’s overture to become a member of the Teaneck Board of Education in his letter to the editor on Aug. 17 emanates from a person who has vast experience in the educational arena. His sincerity and passion to impart his wisdom and knowledge within his field as a quintessential educator is truly notable. The myriad positions and success encompass his employment in both public schools of 30 years and private schools of 19+ years. His experience is most commendable. Gerald started in his youth as a teacher, leading to assuming roles of headmaster, student advocate, superintendent, grant writer and beyond. I’ve been witness to his journey on a personal level as co-parents at the Ashar Yeshiva in Monsey for many years along with being a proud grandmother of all my Englewood grandchildren attending Moriah. I know he will truly be an asset to augment the “educational excellence” as he maintains and we are fortunate to have the opportunity of choice to choose an “excellent” candidate. He’s the right man for the job!
