The Jewish Link of Bergen County and Gotham Burger would like to recognize 6-year-old Avi and 5-year-old Josh Winslow as co-sportstars of the week. The Winslow brothers were standout players on the AIFL Flag football Seahawks team. In a league of kindergarten and 1st graders, team Seahawks were at a disadvantage being mostly underclassmen. Coach Yitzi Karasick told the JLBC that he was very proud to see the effort and sportsmanship displayed by his boys every Sunday.
Saving the best for last, the Winslow boys turned in tremendous performances in the team’s final game against the Giants. Avi ran for three touchdowns and, on the other side of the ball, had a pick six. Josh emerged as a reliable safety and has the moves to be a top running back like his brother.

Josh: David Wright.

Avi: Eli Manning, again.
Josh: My Dad.
What is your go-to pregame meal?
Avi: Apples.
Josh: Pizza.
What is your favorite sports memory?
Avi: Scoring four touchdowns in one game.
Josh: Running with the ball.
What is the best thing about being a sportstar?
Avi: Maybe I will be on TV one day.
Josh: Being on a team with my brother.
