Grilling fruit is one of my favorite desserts to serve during the summer months. Its delicious and refreshing, and so, so simple! I like to grill pineapple, peaches and apricots. Simply toss some cut up fruit in a little bit of oil and grill over high heat until softened.
Ingredients:
- fruit such as pineapple, peach, apricots for grilling
- 8-ounce container of whipped cream or non-dairy whipped topping=
- 2 tablespoons fruit liqueur like Absolut or Binyamina Triple-Sec… any flavor you choose
Crispy Crumb Streusel Topping (available here: https://www.craftedkosher.com/products/black-bag-streusel-topping), or 2 tablespoons margarine, 2 tablespoons flour and 2 tablespoons sugar, combined for topping./
Procedure:
After grilling the fruit, place streusel topping and (if using your homemade streusel, bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees or place under a broiler for 4-6 minutes. Top with whipped topping and enjoy!
