Paramus—The Frisch School’s online fundraising auction will open for bidding on Saturday night, November 14, at 8 p.m. The more than 200 items listed include a halter worn by Triple Crown Winner American Pharoah and a baseball autographed by Yankees great and future Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera.
Hosted on the website BiddingforGood.com, the auction is open to people around the country, who can also bid on merchandise such as a Tory Burch handbag, wireless Beats headphones and tickets to sporting events. Other items are intended for local audiences and include gift certificates to popular local restaurants and salons, services from local party planners and personal trainers, gym memberships and more.
The annual auction is the Frisch Parents Association’s (FPA) only fundraising event of the year. All funds raised will go towards enhancing the top-tier educational experience at Frisch. For example, FPA purchases important supplemental items for the school such as outdoor basketball hoops, sponsors cultural events for students, and organizes celebrations for holidays and special events.
A subset of items is open only to members of the Frisch community, and includes opportunities for social outings with teachers, such as going to dinner or a professional sporting event, tutoring hours, homework passes and a reserved parking space.
The bidding begins at 8 p.m. on November 14 at https://www.biddingforgood.com/auction/auctionhome.action?auctionId=242248961. The auction will close on November 21.
