Students love hands-on learning in science class at Bruriah Middle School. The sixth graders made oobleck by mixing cornstarch and water. The girls discovered that they can pour it as a liquid and apply pressure to it as a solid. This was a cool concept they didn’t know was possible! Creating surprises and using a different approach promotes an innovative learning environment that benefits our students in a multitude of ways.
