The children of the Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School had a visit from the Hatzalah of West Orange and Livingston ambulance and volunteers. This was a great opportunity for the children to learn about what Hatzalah does and how the ambulance and the volunteers can help people when they are sick or hurt. The children had the opportunity to take a closer look while on the truck and see all of the equipment and supplies. The older children even got to sit in the front with the lights on. Children learned about the mitzvah of bikur cholim and how important it is to take care of someone who isn’t feeling well.
