Yeshivat He’Atid students are so excited for another year of art class! Morah Amy and her traveling art cart visited the first grade classes to teach them about Larry the Line. The students learned all about lines and how they are the most basic visual element in art. Lines can be used to define shapes and figures. They practiced making various lines including vertical, horizontal, diagonal and zigzag. Once students master their lines, they will be ready to create higher levels of artwork throughout the year. Watch out, da Vinci!
