He’Atid Hurricanes Secure Victory Over Kushner Cobras

(He’Atid sports) In a thrilling basketball showdown at the Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy, the He’Atid Hurricanes emerged triumphant over the Kushner Cobras. Atara Cooper led the way for He’Atid with a game high 12 points, a whopping 20 rebounds and five blocked shots. Point guard Nicole Pruzansky showcased her two way playmaking skills scoring seven points, (including the game sealing basket in the final seconds) dished out six assists, grabbed eight steals and blocked three shots. Not to be overshadowed, but contributing to He’Atid’s overall success, Aliza Gruber made her presence felt on the court by chipping in with four points and grabbing five boards. Warshaw, #10 for Kushner, did all she could do for the Cobras scoring 10 points including six in the fourth quarter. He’Atid head coach Aaron Neufeld said after the game “I couldn’t be prouder of our team’s relentless effort tonight. Kushner is a very good and well coached team; each and everyone of our players earned that victory tonight.” He’Atid will travel to play the undefeated #1 seed Moriah on Wednesday night.
