Please accept this letter as my addition to the 10^th anniversary edition which I unfortunately was not able to contribute to because of preoccupation with family illness.

The wide array of subjects covered by The Jewish Link, with something for everybody, is staggering. Its dedication to giving a special place to Torah subjects in the mix is a great way of making the wealth of Judaism accessible to all.

As every contributor to the paper can attest, it is hard enough to get one article in under the wire, but for the publishers to produce a newspaper as multifaceted as The Jewish Link, with hundreds of pages, on time and on a weekly basis, boggles the mind.

Despite all of the pressure that such a mammoth undertaking must involve, the staff is always courteous. Special thanks to Moshe Kinderlehrer for initiating and implementing his brainchild in such a professional and humble way, and to Jill Kirsch, the super competent senior editor, for her editing skills, kindness and patience in all she does. Sending an article to The Jewish Link is more than just a submission to a newspaper; it is like writing to family.
