Michael Wildes, managing partner of Wildes & Weinberg, was devastated to learn of the passing of Sinéad O’Connor, a brilliant musician and former client of the firm. Having released 10 albums with remarkable success since her first No. 1 hit in 1990, “Nothing Compares 2 U,” she won and was nominated for several Grammy Awards, and toured throughout the globe. She was a true icon, legend and a dear friend, and his thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.

Wildes (who is also the mayor of Englewood) had the privilege of hosting O’Connor at his home on several occasions. He stated: “Sinéad enjoyed spending Friday ‘Sabbath’ night dinner at our home reveling in our family, blessings and traditions. She would often take a package home, making us appreciate her own spiritual journey. We truly enjoyed the time we had with her. This is truly a great loss for the world.”
