He’Atid second grade students were inspired by “Balloons Over Broadway” by Melissa Sweet, the story of Tony Sarg, the puppeteer who created the first balloons for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. After listening to this captivating tale, the students teamed up to design and build their own parade floats using recyclable materials. Creativity soared as they crafted unique designs, showcasing teamwork and imagination. The young engineers truly brought the spirit of the holiday to life!
