He’Atid Eighth Grade Heads to D.C.

He’Atid eighth graders recently embarked on an unforgettable trip to Washington, D.C.! Over the course of two days, they explored key historical landmarks and cultural sites, including the Washington Monument, the U.S. Capitol and the Lincoln Memorial. Students also paused for the iconic White House photo op, explored the fascinating exhibits at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, and had a meaningful visit to the Holocaust Memorial Museum. In addition to the educational highlights, the group enjoyed some fun downtime, including dinner at Char Bar DC and a night of bowling and arcade games. The trip was not only a valuable learning experience but also a chance to create lasting memories with their He’Atid classmates. It provided students with a deeper understanding of American history and government in a truly hands-on way.
