This week at Yeshivat He’Atid, students across the grades worked in their small-group rotations to conduct experiments on physical science, and connect their findings to expository writing assignments. First, they researched online and in print about motion and forces. Then, using chalk balls and other spheres, they tested their hypotheses about how to make these objects reach their destinations more and less quickly. At Yeshivat He’Atid, students in Grades 1 through Grade 4 follow the Judith Hochman approach to expository writing, which helps them organize and present information clearly and succinctly.
