(Courtesy of Hebrew Free Burial Association) CareOne at Teaneck donated and collected dozens and dozens of talleisim for the Hebrew Free Burial Association from the Teaneck community and the Young Israel of Scarsdale. The HFBA is a nonprofit organization that helps arrange burials for poor Jewish people. The HFBA has done four to five times as many burials as it did during the same period of time last year and was in need of talleisim. Thanks to the outpouring of support, the HFBA should have enough talleisim for now. However, the HFBA now needs donations more than talleisim.
