(Courtesy of Hedy’s Hate) Driving over a river, on the West Side Highway, around Manhattan and through a long tunnel, plus tolls, will lead you eventually to a magical shop, filled to overflowing with hats. Located at 1329 Avenue P (corner) in Brooklyn, Hedy’s Hats has hats in all the new fall colors and shapes, everything from the top hat designers to fabulous imports from Italy and Israel and more. Stunning designer dressy hats, reimagined basics, packable hats, berets, fascinators and more fill this wonderful shop.
However, if a trip to Brooklyn isn’t in your plans, you are in luck. Back again for two nights, Hedy Needle will be bringing a gorgeous selection of her hats, carefully selected from her shop, to Teaneck. For the 10th year Hedy will be at the home of Nettie Berenholz, 600 Maitland Avenue (between Jefferson and River Road), on Monday, September 23, and Tuesday, September 24. Please note the new time: 6:30-9:30. If you would like to come in earlier or later, please call Hedy on her cell at 917-640-4649.
There is something for almost every budget. Large or small head sizes can easily be accommodated. Bring your outfit and Hedy will set you up with the perfect hat to match. There is a look for everyone, and prices that allow for multiple purchases. For sheitel wearers, there are bands and fascinators providing new looks you’ve only seen in ads. There are packables so gorgeous you will find it hard to believe they go in a suitcase.
The selection is always refreshed for the second night. Orders gladly taken; all orders will be sent directly to your home.
