Back to back shabbatons, the first for the juniors and seniors and the second for the freshmen and sophomores, were an exciting way to start the yeshiva year at Heichal HaTorah. After learning Friday morning, freshmen and sophomores enjoyed lunch and bowling. Then the students headed to Camp Nageela, where they took advantage of the amazing amenities that the camp provides, such as basketball, softball, hockey, tennis, swimming, fishing and hiking. The singing and dancing at each davening was electric. The divrei torah from administration, rebbeim and talmidim were inspiring. Motzei Shabbos for the juniors and deniors found the students bowling, eating a delicious melava malka and enjoying an uplifting kumzitz and singing Selichos with Dudi Knopfler. This special bonding experience enabled talmidim to form meaningful relationships with their chaveirim and rebbeim at the very beginning of the year.
