This past week, Heichal talmidim celebrated Chanukah with action-packed festivities, including bubble soccer, go-karting and archery, but for many of the boys, the highlight was a school-wide mesiba followed by a concert with Jewish music superstar, Nissim Black. After morning seder, the boys gathered together for a shiur klali from Rosh Yeshiva Rav Aryeh Stechler, on the topic of Chanukah, followed by an elaborate lunch spread. The excitement was palpable as Nissim Black arrived, lighting up the room with a vibrant and energetic performance of his hit songs. He then captivated the audience by retelling the inspirational story of his journey to Judaism, going from a secular rapper to a popular Jewish singer. The talmidim were moved by the powerful message about how the light of Torah can reach all corners, which resonated deeply during the holiday of Chanukah.
