This past week, Heichal HaTorah marked a major set of accomplishments by its talmidim with a yeshiva-wide mega-siyum. The siyum celebrated Heichal talmidim’s learning over 7,300 blatt of gemara over the school year during the yeshiva’s daily bekiyus shiur and beyond. Each shiur completed at least two perakim of a masechta, and most of them completed the entire masechta they were learning.
After a lavish seuda, the yeshiva had the privilege of listening to inspiring words of chizuk and bracha from the newly appointed Menahel Rav Dovid Goldman, followed by Heichal’s Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Aryeh Stechler, who encouraged the talmidim to review the masechta they learned over the summer. After these inspiring divrei chizuk, the 213 talmidim who were mesayem either parts or all of a masechta gathered on stage, surrounded by over 200 proud parents and family members, to recite the Hadran.
The evening concluded with spirited singing and dancing, joining together Heichal’s rebbeim, the student body and their families. The lively celebration infused the night with energy and enthusiasm, capping a year of great accomplishment in Torah learning, and filling the talmidim with a deep sense of purpose and achievement.
