This past Shabbos, Heichal HaTorah’s entire student body and rebbeim enjoyed a schoolwide shabbaton at the beautiful new Camp Bnei Aliyah campus in Dingmans Ferry, PA, as a celebration to close out the year. After morning shiur on Friday, buses departed Heichal, initiating a weekend filled with exciting multi-grade sports tournaments, swimming, leisure time, breathtaking hikes, and a pre-Shabbos Toameha with delicious hot food. Shabbos began with powerful Carlebach-style Kabbalas Shabbos, followed by a seudah and divrei Torah from a variety of beloved rebbeim. Later that night, the talmidim joined together for a special tisch that filled the entire campus with energy and ruach.

Shabbos day began with a beautiful Shabbos morning Shacharis, which included a drasha from Rav Aryeh Westreich, the 11th-grade Iyun rebbe. Shabbos day continued with beautiful tefillos, a kiddush and seudah, and engaging parsha shiurim delivered by rebbeim to each grade. Shabbos concluded with a thought-provoking Q&A session with Rav Goldman, Heichal Menahel, and a moving Seudah Shlishis led by Rav Aryeh Stechler, Rosh Yeshiva. The Shabbos served as a meaningful capstone to a year of tremendous growth, learning, and connection between talmidim and rebbeim. After a memorable weekend of camaraderie and inspiration, the talmidim headed home on Motzei Shabbos, carrying with them the ruach of a truly unforgettable experience.
