This past week, rebbeim and talmidim at Heichal HaTorah gathered together in preparation for the Yamim Noraim for a meaningful and impactful schoolwide tish. Divrei Torah and bracha were shared by Heichal’s Mashpia Rav Chaim Marcus, beloved 11th-grade rebbe and rabbi of Congregation Israel in Springfield. Rav Marcus shared the concept of the power of kabbalah, accepting something upon oneself going into the new year. He explained how this responsibility can be a source of tremendous inspiration and strength, which can then lead to special Siyata D’Shmaya. The talmidim enjoyed hot delicacies going into Shabbos with a room full of ruach and enthusiasm in advance of Rosh Hashanah.
